Updated pics in gallery. They aren't the round fuzz balls anymore! They are starting to get their grown up look. Mom takes them all out on late night adventures...and Sephe has been discovered the tall weeds watching the chickens so we are sure to keep everything sealed up.

They are cute! Is it hard to tell them apart? I guess you would have to look closely at the markings for a while.

How is Penny today? Is she sore? Poor baby.

I posted about Penny in the thread about her. I can tell the kittens apart at a quick glance except Ares and Hermes. They look identical until you can see their backs which the pattern of orange is different. Also, one has more of a round face and the other more of a triangular face. Artemis is easy. She has the least amount of white, a grayish hue to her tail and is the smallest. She also has different eyes, a dark green to dark brown- much like my own. All the boys have this caramel colored brown eyes. Apollo is the only long haired one and his orange is more of a tan/orange/creamy color. None got Sephe pretty pea green eye color. Sephe is a petite cat and they are catching up to her growth wise so it is hard now to even tell her apart from Ares and Hermes.

All three boys are purring lap cats. Artemis is less affectionate, more business like just like her mom. She tends to spend more time with her mom and the boys hang out together, but they all come to eat together.

Lately, when I feed them they come in from outside the barn. Mom is taking them out on 'outings' especially at night. I know they are 'supplementing' their human provided diet because they come back with full bellies and no interest in the food I brought. We also find tuffs of fluffy fur or feathers in the barn. I don't want to know any more than I do.

They are so cute I want another cat but I think I will wait till my Poohead is gone and I have my own house before I get one.

This so reminds me of typical siblings. The girls are usually all business and the boys are off playing rough and tumble together.

Yet two more pics in gallery. You can see that they aren't babies anymore. The one way in the back with the glowing eyes is mamma, the others are her babies. They have all look bigger in just this past week because they are getting their winter layer of fur, so fluffy and soft!
