I have a dangerous amount of absolutely no knowledge of this sort of technical problem - have you tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in after re-starting your PC?
Otherwise try this website (but I have no idea if it will be helpful or not...)

We deal with these everyday. Its the WIndows XP build only option is to use a network card if the updated drivers don't work.

Well the modem you are talking about has a small hole just below the power in cable at the rear of it just use a small needle type object in the hole and hold in pressed for 3 seconds then release it turn your computer on in 1 minutes timeafter all the lights have finnished flashing on the front of the modem this will reset the modem to the factory settings and when windows finds this so called new modem settings it will update it self to the required setting thous you know have windows and modem completely refreshed
make sure you do not use a crossover cable use the one supplied with the modem from t..west try not to use a usb cable as these are a pain in the rear end and cause more hastle than what there worth
